Marian Bear Trail is open sunrise to sunset. Be careful that you leave before the park closes otherwise your car might get locked in for the night, or worse towed. Direction to the trail head: Google Maps

Marian Bear Trail Parking

When you arrive to the park you are greeted by a large dirt parking lot that is in good condition. Make sure to watch out for potholes, after rain they can get pretty big.

At the trial-head there is some signage telling information about the park and bathrooms that are open to the public. From here you can clearly see the start of the trail.

The hike in general follows a dirt path that is clearly visible the entire time. The route goes from some open space and ends up passing by some lightly woodsy areas with big trees. These areas are much cooler and a nice little break point on a warm day.

Lookback

Reflecting on this trail I think it is a great beginner hike that just gets you out on a trail with some experience walking on uneven surfaces. I am not eager to come back here, but overall a great place to go when looking for a quick outing. If you work nearby, could be a great lunchtime adventure at a little over 30 minutes roundtrip at a casual pace.
