Lindo Lake Loop is a 1.39 mile lake loop with 30 feet of elevation gain and is part of Lindo Lake County Park located in Lakeside, CA. This is a quick walk around a beautiful lake and also has many other activities at the park to do.
Parking & Getting There
There is a good amount of parking at this park. Some of the parking is available in a parking lot and street parking. On an average day, parking should not be an issue, but on a busy holiday I could see parking being a bit difficult as many families and friends hang out to celebrate.
Directions to where I parked are located here: Google Maps
This trail is a nice casual lake loop through a park that has plenty of other activities to do while visiting. Some of the activities you will find are family and group picnic areas, a dance ramada, a skate park, a children’s playground, a softball field, a butterfly garden, horseshoe pits, and tennis courts.
The park does have hours from sunrise to sunset daily. To find up to date information about the park you can find it here Lindo Lake County Park.
While walking around the lake the trail is very clear to follow. You can see from my trail recording above as long as you are following the edge of the lake you will make your way around. Also looking at the trail you can see that I took the full loop, but you can easily do a lap around one of the two lakes to make it shorter.
Overall I really enjoyed the walk around Lindo Lake. I don’t think that I would travel too far, but if in the area it is worth the time to checkout. Since the trail is very smooth it would be very easy to walk around with a stroller. Finally, with minimal elevation this make this trail accessible to most!
